Dumpling Pastry

  • Before Use: Take the product out of the freezer and leave it at room temperature for 2-3 hours to defrost. Due to no preservatives added, it is not recommended to store the product in the fridge or defrost it in the fridge. Black spots will develop overnight if it is kept in the fridge. Wrap the unused spring roll wrappers with plastic wrap and put them in a plastic bag to store in the freezer.
  • Dumping pastry can be used for: Making dumplings, making dim sims, making scallion pancakes, and etc.

Chives pork dumpling:

  • Ingredients:Pork mince 400g, chives 200g, shallot 50g, sugar 4g, some chicken salt, sesame oil 5g, some pepper, salt 7g, ginger 5g, some soy sauce, some cold water, 1 egg

Cooking Method:

  • Place ginger in the blende jar, add some water and blend them until smooth. Chop shallot and chives into small pieces and leave in a bowl for later use. Mix all the other seasoning into the pork mince. Add ginger juice slowly and continue mixing until sticky. Finally, add egg and vegetables to the sticky mixture, mix again, and the filling is now ready to be used for making dumplings. After the dumplings have been made, you can go to the dumplings cooking method and follow the steps to cook the dumplings.
