Dim Sims
Cooking Method:
- 1. Steam - Pour a cup of water (250ml) in the pot (recommended to have a bit more water to avoid drying out in the process of steaming). Place a steamer/ rack and bring the water to the boil. Take the dim sims from the freezer and place them on a plate (brush some oil on the plate to prevent sticking). Then place the dim sim and plate in the pot, cover, and steam it for 12-15 minutes on medium heat. Later, turn off the heat and leave the dim sims in the pot with lid closed for 5 minutes before serving.
- 2. Microwave - take out the dim sims from the freezer, open the package, rinse dim sims with cold water and put them on a plate. Then microwave for 2-5 minutes. They are best served hot.
- 3. Frying – Heat up a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add some oil and spread the oil evenly. Take the dim sims from the freezer and put them in a non-stick pan. Then pour a bowl of water (about 50-100ml) into the pan and close the lid. Let it fry for 7-10 minutes on medium low heat until the water has evaporated. When the dim sims are golden brown, turn off the heat and serve.
Dumplings
Cooking Method:
- 1. Boiled -Prepare a pot of water, and bring it to the boil on medium-high heat. Take the dumplings from the refrigerator, and put them in the pot. Turn to medium-low heat, and cook for 8-10 minutes. When the dumplings float on the surface, scoop them out and serve.
- 2. Frying – Heat up a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add some oil and spread the oil evenly. Take the dumplings from the freezer, and put them in the non-stick pan. Then pour a bowl of water (about 100-150ml) into the pan, and cover with a lid. Let it fry for 12-15 minutes on medium low heat until the water has evaporated. When the dumplings are golden brown on one side, turn off the heat and serve.
Seafood Wonton
- Boiled -Prepare a pot of water and bring it to the boil on medium-high heat. Take the wontons from the refrigerator, put them in the pot. Turn to medium-low heat and cook for 8-10 minutes. When the wontons float on the surface, scoop them and serve.
- Ingredients:Water 1L, scallion crisp 15g, salt 5g, chicken salt 3g, sugar 2g, white pepper a little, sesame oil a little, celery some, coriander some, shallot some
- Cut celery, coriander and shallot into small pieces, and place in a bowl, to use later. Fill a pot with one liter water, and add scallion crisp and cook until boiling. Add all the seasoning and stir till melted. Turn off the flame and put cooked wonton in the soup. Then add all the vegetables and sesame oil in the soup, and it’s ready to eat.
Noodle
- Fill a pot with water, boil it with medium-high flame. Place in a frozen noodle, and stir it with chopsticks, until all the noodles are spread. Continue stirring and cooking for 5-7 minutes. When all the noodles are floating on the water, scoop them out and place them into cold water. Then scoop them out and place them in a bowl. They are ready to eat.
- Ingredients:Lard, sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, noodle
- Place some lard in a bowl and melted. Add some sweet soy sauce and some soy sauce, and mix. Then add cooked noodle into the bowl, mix them, and it ready to eat.
